Description
B4400-08800 Run/stop solenoid made by Syncro-Start, Part number will be 2370-24ESU1B5S. This is a duel coil solenoid and uses only 2 wires. This is a 24 volt electrical assembly. This is only a stop solenoid it has nothing to do with the governor actuator its only used to shut the engine down.
Picture number 3 shows the old Syncro-Start solenoid installed in a 780RD generator Elliott unit.
This solenoid requires proper installation its a 2 coil unit and if installed incorrectly and the internal switch is not activated correctly it will burn up the pull in coil, know what you are doing !
