40-0010742 Radiator hose, Upper. Original part number was 255711.
These hoses are 2"ID, both ends. Overall length is 17.5 inches.
This hose, when placed in a vertical position has a 9 inch reach as shown in the 2nd picture.
This part is very similar to the upper radiator hose used on several different generator applications one was the Kohler 30kw model 30RZ62 generator. The Kohler part number was 285722. Either hose will work as they both are almost identical in build.
The Hercules hose is about 1 inch longer in one area of the hose. Check out the 3rd pictures closely and you'll see the slight difference, This hose will work for a Kohler application, at worst you trim a little off.
